Self-examination checklist #1: The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:3-17, Deuteronomy 5:7-21): 1. Have no other gods. 2. Do not make idols. 3. Do not take the Lord's name in vain. 4. Keep the Sabbath day. 5. Honor your parents. 6. Do not kill. 7. Do not commit adultery. 8. Do not steal. 9. Do not falsely accuse. 10. Do not covet.

Note regarding the terms "Science" and "Christian Scientist:" Mary Baker Eddy considered the term divine Science or Science as synonymous with the biblically equivalent terms: the Holy Ghost (or the Holy Spirit) and the Comforter (or the Advocate, the Counselor, the Paraclete, the Defense Attorney), which John 14:17 described as "the Spirit of truth." In light of this, a genuine "Christian Scientist" may be considered to be one whose practice of Christianity and Christian healing includes following Christ in thinking, speaking, and acting as instructed and directed by the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth. In this sense being a Christian Scientist is a way of life and is in no way defined by or limited to any denominational affilation. See also http://www.bibletexts.com/terms/comforter.htm.
2.d.4. BELIEVE THE GOOD NEWS: "Fear not,.. for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom." (Luk 12:32)

- 5.a. God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. But people are tempted when they are drawn away and trapped by their own evil desires. Then their evil desires conceive and give birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death... Happy are those who remain faithful under trials, because when they succeed in passing such a test, they will receive as their reward the life which God has promised to those who love him. The Lord's Prayer with its spiritual interpretation from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, 16:26-15
Our Father which art in heaven,
Our Father-Mother God, all-harmonious,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Adorable One.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy kingdom is come; Thou art ever-present.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Enable us to know,--as in heaven, so on earth,--God is omnipotent, supreme.
Give us this day our daily bread;
Give us grace for to-day; feed the famished affections;
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And Love is reflected in love;
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;
And God leadeth us not into temptation, but delivereth us from sin, disease, and death.
For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.
For God is infinite, all-power, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All.

Our Master taught his disciples one brief prayer, which we name after him the Lord's Prayer. Our Master said, "After this manner therefore pray ye," and then he gave that prayer which covers all human needs. There is indeed some doubt among Bible scholars, whether the last line is not an addition to the prayer by a later copyist; but this does not affect the meaning of the prayer itself... Only as we rise above all material sensuousness and sin, can we reach the heaven-born aspiration and spiritual consciousness, which is indicated in the Lord's Prayer and which instantaneously heals the sick.
See also Christian Healing, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 15:28-3
The Lord's Prayer, understood in its spiritual sense, and given its spiritual version, can never be repeated too often for the benefit of all who, having ears, hear and understand.
